Preferential Policies
|
1、The income tax rate for productive foreign-funded enterprises
will be by 24 percent. Meanwhile manufacturers which have contracted
to operate for at least ten years will be exempt from taxes the first
two years from the profit- making year and will be allowed 50 percent
reduction the third to fifth years.
2、The income tax rate is 15 percent for the following type foreign-funded
enterprise through application and approval.
A、The foreign-funded enterprise is high-tech enterprise;
B、The total investment of the foreign-funded enterprise is over
USD 30 million;
C、The foreign-funded enterprise engaged in construction of road,
power plant
public projects.
3. After tax exemptions and reductions have expired according to
regulations of the state, the income tax of enterprises for the sino-foreign
joint ventures that their products are mainly for export, if their
output value of products for export is up to about 70 percent of the
total output value of products for that years, it will be allowed
50 percent reduction according to existing tax regulation, the income
tax for sino-foreign joint venture with advanced technology, after
the tax exemption has expired it will be allowed to 50 percent reduction
for three years.
4.Foreign investors who reinvest the profits distributed to them
by their enterprises in order to establish or enlarge enterprises
for a period of operation not less than five years will be refunded
40 percent of enterprises income tax already paid on the reinvested
portion. If establishing and enlarging the enterprises using advanced
technology or producing goods for export, the total amount of enterprise
income tax already paid on the reinvested portion, shall be refunded.
5.When foreign investors remit abroad profits distributed to them
by their enterprises, the amount remitted will be exempt from income
tax.
6.Facilities needed by foreign investors such as water, power, gas,
transportation. Telecommunication is provided priority and the cost
for foreigners is the same as it for the natives.
7.Shenhe district government gives special support to those foreign-funded
enterprises with large scale high level of technology and the function
to push the whole economy ahead. |
